Roots Event - Monday May 11th

Hello Everyone!

Just a reminder that we will be performing selections from Hadestown for the 9th Grade and their guests at the Roots event held Monday, May 11th.

A few important notes:

• Report at 8:00 AM to the Music Room
• Please arrive quickly and quietly — events will already be taking place in the building
• We will have breakfast foods, water, and juice available for you
• Wear jeans and your black Hadestown tee shirt
• Bring your music if you have it
• 9th Grade students: you will join us onstage when it is time to sing
• 9th Grade - You will not be required to rehearse ahead of time, but please review your music tonight
• We will be performing with tracks
• Performance time is approximately 9:30 AM
• We will perform about 20–25 minutes of material
• After the performance, we will stay and move to the choir loft to sing for Mass
• You will go home after Mass and the Roots Event finishes (Teacher in Service will be in the building the remainder of the school day)

Please note that this will also count as our first rehearsal as we begin preparing for the Gene Kelly Awards performance, so please make every effort to attend.
